Manual hydraulic pallet truck basic operation skills and simple daily maintenance process guide

The daily maintenance process is simple but cannot be ignored. After the daily work is over, the body of the car, especially the debris on the forks and wheels, should be cleaned.Check the hydraulic system regularly (such as weekly or after every 50 hours of use): check the hydraulic cylinder and tubing joints for leakage

Manual hydraulic pallet trucks, commonly known as ”ground cattle", are the most widely used plane moving tools.Mastering its basic operating skills and performing simple daily maintenance are essential to ensure operation safety, improve efficiency, and extend equipment life. The basic operation begins with a standardized pre-loading inspection: quickly check whether the body is significantly damaged, whether the fork is horizontal, whether the wheels rotate smoothly, and whether the hydraulic system is significantly leaking. When loading, completely lower the fork to the lowest position, align the fork inlet of the pallet, and smoothly push the fork completely into the bottom of the pallet to ensure that the pallet is completely placed above the length of the fork. Then, by shaking up and down or stepping on the hydraulic handle, the cargo is smoothly lifted to an appropriate height from the ground (usually 2-5 cm for movement). Pay attention to the resistance during the process. If it is abnormally heavy, the inspection should be stopped immediately.

Movement and unloading are the key links of operation. When moving, hold the handle with both hands, keep your body stable and push it at a uniform speed. When turning, slow down in advance, control the steering of the universal wheel through the handle, and move gently to avoid rapid steering causing the cargo to overturn or the wheels to be damaged.During the implementation process, the path ahead should be observed at all times to avoid potholes, debris and pedestrians on the ground. After arriving at the destination, stop the vehicle steadily, find a flat and solid place on the ground, slowly operate the descending handle or pedal, and place the cargo smoothly on the ground or cargo platform. After ensuring that the goods are stable, pull the fork horizontally from the pallet to complete the unloading.Special attention is paid to the fact that it is strictly forbidden to stay or operate on the slope while carrying goods, it is strictly forbidden to use the vehicle as a lifting platform to carry people, and it is strictly forbidden to use it overloaded.

The daily maintenance process is simple but cannot be ignored. After the daily work is over, the body of the car, especially the debris on the forks and wheels, should be cleaned.Check the hydraulic system regularly (such as weekly or after every 50 hours of use): check the hydraulic cylinder and tubing joints for leakage; repeatedly lift up several times at no load to observe whether it is smooth, whether there is any abnormal noise, and whether the descent is stable and controllable.Check the mechanical part: check the fork for bending and deformation, check the wear of all wheels (especially nylon wheels or polyurethane wheels), make sure that the rotation is flexible and there is no stagnation, and clean up the entangled ropes and other debris in time. For movable joints, a small amount of lubricating oil can be added dropwise as needed to maintain flexibility. When not in use for a long time, keep the fork to a minimum and store in a dry place. These simple and regular inspections and maintenance can effectively prevent failures, ensure that manual hydraulic pallet trucks are always in good usable condition, and serve daily moving work safely and reliably.
